It's also confusing because only the settings for the printer used to print the document are saved, not any other printer settings. It would be much more logical to follow my report and associate printer settings with the document and if any are changed then the status of the document changes with them. That way all printer settings are always saved and everyone should understand the circumstances under which they are saved.
