I have tried the following FILE Formats with 4.1.0(AOO410m18(Build:9764) - Rev. 1589052 2014-04-22 11:43:54 (Di, 22 Apr 2014)) on a Win8 Dell Studio XPS (no Apple kit available) Wmw MKV AVI MP4 MPG MOV FLV 3gp M4v what I observed in terms of Impress support for these Wmw -yes MKV – Not supported AVI -yes MP4 – not supported MPG – yes MOV - not supported FLV - not supported 3gp – not supported M4v – not supported Furthermore, when using the supported video file types, I observed some differences; WMV/AVI/MPG - would not preview VIDEO in DESIGN mode play but did replay the sound. Moving into Slideshow mode renditions video and sound for these 3 formats accpetably. Using a competitor product (Office Pro Plus 32 bit 2010 on same Dell Studio XPS WIn8), the picture is somewhat different, using the same video formats Wwmv - YES Mkv – needs codec.. Avi YES Mp4 – not supported needs quicktime? Mpg YES Mov - Not supported needs Quick time or other prep FLV Needs codec..not supported 3gp Needs codec.. m4v Cannot insert…needs codec. running in Powerpoint, the previews of video and sound are available (prior to slideshow) Thus, using a different environment, I can video is functioning within OO 4.1.0 using Win8 Stew - could you add the reference video (or link to) that causes a problem if possible..and specify the file format and video size AVI Could you include the ODP file ? Do you also have the same issue in Draw (the 3 formats that Impress will display in Slideshow behave consistently.
