Deborah Lee <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] | |.uk --- Comment #8 from Deborah Lee <[email protected]> --- Deborah Lee 14-June I was able to both replicate and fix the issue on my Macbook Pro OS X 10.9.2 with OO v4.1.0. It appears that on a Mac, you can edit the view settings to show the full icon or description and preview. Through editing these settings, I was both able to see and remove the preview feature. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Open Office 2. Create New Blank Presentation 3. From the file menu, Click ‘Insert’ > File. 4. Scroll/Find the intended document 5. Change view settings using icons along the top of the pop up window) 6. Preview becomes visible and removed accordingly. Further testing showed that this is also possible with OO Writer as well as Impress, also Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office 2008) with Mac OS X 10.9.2. Previewing the inserted file can help the user to assess whether the correct file has been selected which can save time and effort (and frustration). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the issue.
