On the first problem mentioned in the report "The default animation is,
however, not for each line but for the whole object":

I have not been able to reproduce this issue in my environment.

Performing the following steps...

1. Create an empty presentation
2. In the default first slide, add 3 lines to one of the text shapes available
in the slide layout
3. Select the text shape and add an animation effect (any of them, no need to
be the specified one in the original report)

Expected and observed result: when executing the slideshow, the text shape has
the animation set per line without the shape itself being animated.

To confirm this behaviour, in the animation pane, left click in the animation
added in the last step and select "Effect options". Then in the resulting
dialog, load the "Text animation" tab. There, the "Group text" menu is set to
"By 1st level paragraph" and the checkbox "Animate attached shape" is not
selected by default.

This observed behaviour is consistent with Christian Guenther's comment in
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=59855#c2 and with the resolution
of the related issue https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=69364. This
first problem is then solved, in my opinion.

On the second problem mentioned in the original report "When entering a new
line of text within the object, this line does not get the same animation as
the other lines":

In my opinion this is a legitimate issue.

Performing the following steps...

1. Create an empty presentation
2. In the default first slide, add 2 lines to one of the text shapes available
in the slide layout
3. Select the text shape and add an animation effect
4. Add an extra line to the text shape

Expected result: when executing the slideshow, the text shape has the animation
set per line, and all lines are animated.

Observed result: when executing the slideshow, the text shape has the animation
set per line, but only in lines 1 and 2, line 3 is not animated and appears in
the slide straight away.

This observed behaviour is probably inconsistent with the users' expectations
as mentioned in the original report, as well as an usability issue given it
requires an amendment from the user to achieve her goal (to have all the lines
in the text shape animated the same). This is also inconsistent with the
product itself, as performing step 4 before step 3 unexpectedly results in a
different output (all lines animated). Finally, this is inconsistent with
comparable products, as both in MS PowerPoint (v.12.0.6654.5000 on a Windows
Vista v.6.0.6002 SP2) and Google Drive presentation (again on a MacBook OS X
v.10.9.3, Chrome v.35.0.1916.153) executing the last set of steps to reproduce,
we obtain the expected behaviour of all lines (old and new) being animated
(although in Google Drive you have to explicitly set the animation per
paragraph first).
