Since the new in-line editing feature of input fields (issue 33737), a double
click in a input field opens the "Edit fields" dialog, which does not allow
edition despite the name.
Wouldn't it be better if double-click could open the old pop-up dialog instead?
The new inline feature would still work, and there would be a way to use the
old solution, which can still be usefull as a fallback in some situations, like
copy-and-paste and nostalgic users;)
Looks like a win-win scenario, since it would then combine the strengths of
both solutions: one would normally use inline editting, which is fastest, but
could use the dialog if he so whishes.
