Pattie <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #9 from Pattie <[email protected]> --- Comments for OOo database: I was able to recreate this issue. See attached examples. Issue: Functionality of Graphic bullets with URLs in Open Office Writer. Description: Several graphic bullets in Open Office Writer create an underline between the bullet and the beginning of the URL text when user moves off the the line of text containing the URL. Version : I recreated this issue using, Apache Open Office 4.0.1 (AOO401m5 - Build: 9714) - Rev. 1524958 with Windows 7, Version 6.1, Build 7601: Service Pack 1 Test Steps to recreate the issue: 1. Open Apache Open Office Writer using the above documented version. 2. Create a New documents in Writer. Also occurs when retrieve a Saved Document in AOO Writer. 3. At the blinking cursor, type the following UR: http://OpenOffice.com. 4. In the Tool Bar, Click on Format>Bullets and Numbering>Graphics Tab. 5. Under Selection on the Graphic Tab, Click on a graphic bullet. Note: Mouse over the graphic bullet to display name, repeat for each bullet used to view the name. Document the graphic bullet name for later reference. 6. Click on Ok. 7. Graphic Tab closes and user returns to Text document. 8. Note, the underline does not display at this point. 9. Press the enter key to move off the line of text, the underline now displays between the bullet and the URL. This bug also occurs when you press the Tab arrow to move off the line of text. Additional Tests: I tested several of the graphic bullet types, but not all. I was able to recreate this issue with every graphic bullet type I selected. I was also able to recreate this issue using the red arrow.gif as well as the blue star.gif. I also created this issue using the coffee_4.gif, and I visually noticed an unusually long underline displayed between the bullet and the beginning of the URL text. I repeated this test again using the coffee_1.gif and instead of pressing the enter key I pressed the tab key which moved the cursor down to the next lined of text. I visually notice this also created a very long line between the graphic bullet and the URL. Comments: I would tag this issue as a visual annoyance to customers rating and as a low/medium priority and severity to fix. The extension of the underline between the graphic bullet and the text in the URL may seem as messy or unprofessional, depending on the viewpoint of the customer. I was also able to recreate this bug using a previously saved document from Open Office Writer using the above documented version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the issue.
