Issue ID: 125127
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: horizontal scrolling keeps going to the right end of
the sheet
Product: Calc
Version: 4.1.0
Hardware: Mac
OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P3
Component: ui
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
On 64-bit Mac from 2010 running OS X 10.9 Mavericks and OpenOffice 4.1.0 64-bit
with English language pack has issues with horizontal scrolling.
Most of the time it keeps scrolling to the right end of the sheet.
Vertical scrolling works as expected.
Reproduction steps:
1. Enable two-finger scrolling in System Preferences (web pages, documents now
scroll vertically and horizontally in all directions).
2. Open OpenOffice 4.1.0
3. Create a new spreadsheet
4. Start scrolling horizontally back-and-forth.
5. Expected behavior: the sheet moves back-and-forth.
Actual behavior: the sheet scrolls to the right end until it cannot scroll any
more to the right.
I suspecting, there is a miscommunication of how the two-finger scroll events
are interpreted by OO and it ends up going mostly to the right.
This is very similar to this one:
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124191
but I see it on the builtin track pad of MacBook Pro.
