Try the following with a new sheet: 1. Choose any cell and look what is the default font, say FONT01. 2. Write 2 Word into the cell: Word1 Word2. 3. Format Word1 with another font FONT02 and Word2 with FONT03. 4. Leave the edit mode of the cell and look which font is shown for the cell: => FONT01. 5. Change the font for the cell to FONT04. You'll see that the hard formatting of Word1 and Word2 stays with FONT02 and FONT03.
