I have opened several older Word files that I use as templates, make my
modifications, then resave the file. The file date does not change to the
modified date. However, in the properties of the file in Win Explorer, the
modified date is correct showing the actual save date. I start by copying the
older file to a new folder, then renaming the file before opening it, make my
changes to the document, and resaving it. Can anyone help? Thanks
