It's not a bug, it's a feature. ;-)

When using the sort functions via icons from the toolbar, then the first row is
assumed as label (header) and remains where it is.

If you don't have a label and/or don't want to insert one, then please do the
following:

- Open menu "Data - Sort".
- In the upcoming dialog you can see that "F" is pre-selected.
- Now click on the tab page "Options".
- Uncheck the option "Range contains column labels".
- Go back to the 'Sort Criteria' tab page.
- You can see "Column A" as indicator what will be sorted.
- Finally, click on [OK].

The column should now be sort as wanted - inclusive the first cell.
