I installed OO 4.1.1 and it's still crashing. I'm getting a runtime error: now I'm not. Tried again just to be sure: crashed again. Got the "due to unexpected error" msg OO trying to save the document (Writer, copied and pasted one picture: crashed) has been trying to "save" the document for 5 minutes now. Location: South Korea, Cheongju University network. 203.252.249.41: public IP address, but I think it changes when I shut down and restart. Windows 7, updated. Haven't had this much trouble in ages so my email login and password aren't working. Last time was when OO was with Sun. Now it says (Not Responding) Is there something I need to turn off? I don't have MS Office. I re-registered. I'm not a techie so be gentle please. Liz Bailey I just tried the test with Hello. no crash so maybe it's just trying to copy n paste this picture from a different website that caused the problem. who knows.
