Nicole Ballman <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #2 from Nicole Ballman <[email protected]> --- Before starting, I ensured the correct version of JRE is selected. I was was unable to reproduce the error with the following steps: 1. Open Writer, then go to file>open and pulling in your template file. 2. Tools>Mail Merge Wizard and select the template as the starting document. Next> 3. I selected to create an Email-message 4. From what you said in your report, I'm assuming that the problem occurred when you tried to import your .xlxs file to make an address book. I selected create>customize, then changed the fields to match your first name, last name, company name format. 5. Pressed OK, then selected names.xlxs, then pressed OK again. I've attached a picture of what my wizard looks like at this point. 6. I unchecked the box that contained salutations, then pressed next through the remaining steps in the wizard. Then I selected to save the merged document. I've attached the resulting document at this point. 7. Select finish. The ending document did not have any names in it(perhaps the labels template is not set up right) but I was able to reach the end of the wizard without experiencing a JRE error. Selecting to create a Letter rather than an email message gives the same results. If I misinterpreted one of your steps, please let me know and I'll take another crack at reproducing the error. I am running Windows 7. I have JRE 7 (1.7.0_55). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue. You are watching all issue changes.
