          Issue ID: 125911
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Impress constantly losing which page it is on
           Product: Impress
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: ui
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Any time the cursor loses focus, the chances are high that impress is going to
jump back to the first slide. This occurs in a wide variety of circumstances,
including:

Autosave runs while paused during typing text, the cursor will have lost focus
and the slide with jump back to the first slide.

When switching between the slide view and the notes view, if there is not text
selected in the current view, then switching views will jump back to the first
slide. For example, if I am viewing slide 45 in slide view, and I want to add
to the notes, if I simply click on the notes view button, I find myself viewing
the notes for slide 1 instead of slide 45. Same going the other direction. If
the cursor is not explicitly positioned on text in the current view, changing
views jumps back to the first slide.

This is EXTREMELY annoying. I spend 2/3rds my editing time simply returning
from slide 1 to the slide I'm trying to edit!!
