i went to insert->frame-> macro and it says "open office requires a jre to
perform this task.please install a jre and restart openoffice"..not just this
it does not close that window for making further editing possible.and gets
stuck in a loop on that windows..you click on ok or cancel or cross but it
keeps reappearing and the only option left is to close aoo through task
manager and subsequently lose all your data just because you were trying to put
on a mcro in your file.
i mean even for users who do not have java installed this must not be a
problem.features that depend on java must ask for a jre and then the windows
must close and other things must run.just because a user doesn't have a jre
installed doesn't mean he cant use apache open office.
for geek info i have jre and jdk 1.7 installed on my system and the environment
variables are also set.and i am using aoo ver 4.1.1 AOO411m6(Build:9775) -
