Therefore it takes the emf-pictures, which are inside the document. And these show the chemical structure already in the shifted, cut kind. Please ask in a Microsoft forum, how to import ChemDraw in way to a Word document, that MS Word generates correct replacement pictures. For AOO Writer you should try to export to a file format in ChemDraw, which AOO knows. Does ChemDraw provide OLE? Then you might get better results, when not inserting as picture but as OLE-object.
