Alexandra Cimpean <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Alexandra Cimpean <[email protected]> --- I was not able to replicate the failure on my system: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit operating system, processor Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-3317U CPU @ 1.70 GHz). The version of the application is OpenOffice 4.1.1. The replication steps provided are an interpretation of what I understood from the initial report. I may have misunderstood the initial replication steps. If I did, please provide feedback and what information is considered valuable. Note: For these tests all the settings that are not mentioned in the steps are left as default. My replication steps: 1. Create a new Writer document. 2. Set the measurement units from the default “inches” to “centimeters" (Tools->Options->OpenOffice Writer->General-> Measurement Units) 3. Create a table of 2 columns, 1 line. 4. Type in the second column "A" 5. Press on Tab 6. Type "B" 7. Press on Tab 8. Type "C" 9. Press on Tab 10. Modify the tab settings(Adjust table column) so that the limit of the first column is at 1 cm and the limit of the second column is at 2 cm. 11. Save the file as Microsoft Word 2003 XML. 12. Close the file. 13. Reopen the file. 14. Move the tab cursors (Adjust table column) in order to change the width of the column. Result after step 14: The cursor can be moved and the width of the column changes accordingly. Since I was not able to replicate the issue with the steps above I tried some variation on the steps. These variations had the same result. 1. Saving the file as ODT file - modifying step 11 to Save the file as ODT Text file Result after step 14: The cursor can be moved and the width of the column changes accordingly. 2. Setting the tab settings using inches instead of centimeters - in step 2: I changed the measurement units to inches - in step 10: Modify the tab settings so that the limit of the first column is at 1 inch and the limit of the second column is at 2 inches. Result after step 14: The cursor can be moved and the width of the column changes accordingly 3. Creating a default table with 2 columns and 2 lines -modifying step 3: Create a table with 2 columns and 2 lines Result after step 14: The cursor can be moved and the width of the column changes accordingly 4. Modifying the text to be centered - after step 9 select the text in the table and set it to be centered. Result after step 14: The cursor can be moved and the width of the column changes accordingly 5. Replicating the 14 steps from the beginning of the comment on OpenOffice 4.1.0 Result after step 14: The cursor can be moved and the width of the column changes accordingly -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
