Note that the Illustration cross-reference lines are now simply text and there is no field that can be used to link to the corresponding illustrations. The footnote link is still recognized, and it is clickable. There are other defects on opening the document as well. Those are unrelated to the focus of the current defect report and would need to be dealt with separately. ABOUT WORKS-FOR-ME-NOT Although there is a gratuitous warning message on saving the Writer-created document in Word format, there is no indication that the result preserves essential features that matter in this given case. In this case, the result is defective in more than one way. ABOUT WORKS-FOR-ME If the .doc file created by AOO 4.1.1 opened with full fidelity in AOO 4.1.1, there could still be a Works-for-Me case. That is, it works in AOO 4.1.1, but it doesn't work for someone actually using Microsoft Word. It is that prospect that makes it very difficult to describe to some who as a works-for-me situation, what actually is not working when interchange is attempted.
