When I enter a group object, wishing to replace one of the grouped obejcts - an
image - by another image, I select this object and choose afterwards
"inssert/image from file". The image is inserted correctly at the intended
point, BUT other drawings of the file are deleted.
If you know it (never use insert from a file within a group object) it is of
course easy to work around it. But if you don't know it, you might loose a lot
of work ....
