As to Connectors - I have used the names of two Connectors which were supplied (as far as I can remember) by Open Office. This was all so long ago I have no idea what table query I might have used. It seems clear from my report that ANY attempt to access a table with a long name caused the crash. I stopped using OpenOffice Base a couple of years ago, some combination of OpenOffice and my own macros was seriously affecting data.
