In same situation PGadmin does not crash, just reports connection errors and it uses probably the same driver. Yesterday I tried to reproduce the error by forcefully stopping the server, but nothing happened. Today base is "gone" again and shows up with Document Recovery Dialog. I didn't start it yet. I looked up virus scanner event log, no related issues. I searched OS event logs, but they are quite noisy and I didn't find anything promising. Is there any point I can start at base side. E.g. logs, the recovery mechnismn itself, e.g. files or file dates / times, so I can at least get the time, when it happens? What I can tell: bas odt file itself shows filedate 28.September.2015 (today is 1.october.2015).
