It is difficult to determine what the exact problem is from the information given. There is an issue. It is not the same as for this issue report. More information is needed so that assistance can be provided. Please create a new issue and explain (1) what you are attempting to do, with (2) what version of Apache OpenOffice on (3) what operating system (i.e., version of Mac OS X). Two possibilities come to mind: 1. You are attempting to open a file that was locked in a previous session that closed without removing the lock. There are ways to remove a lock manually. 2. You are attempting to do something that cannot be done so long as an instance of Apache OpenOffice is running. This can be a result of using the Quickstarter or an instance not having terminated properly. There are ways to stop such an instance, if that is the problem. We need more information to know how to advise you. Alternatively, you may find more assistance, after answering questions, on the <[email protected]> list. Or check the Forums at <https://forum.openoffice.org/>. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue. You are on the CC list for the issue.
