While writing today, I noticed that the autoreplace feature has stopped
working. The desired changes are still listed in the Autocorrect Options menu,
but they no longer apply automatically. The error persists in both 4.1.2 and
4.1.1 versions of OpenOffice. There was an unexpected crash earlier today which
might have something to do with it, but all attempts at repairing OpenOffice
have had no effect. WHile I don't consider this to be a "major" problem, it is
still very time consuming and frustrating, as many of the replacements I
require contain Special Characters, which means wasting a lot of time inserting
the characters instead of it being taken care of automatically.
This error has never occurred before, and it's only within the last hour that
it has manifested. The 'Apply While Typing' option is still selected. Repairing
has failed. Uninstalling and re-installing has failed. Reverting to 4.1.1 has
also failed. I'm out of ideas for possible methods of fixing this issue.
