Replication Steps:
1- Open a new document.
Note:- You can use an exciting document to replicate the bug, I said open a new
document to make the steps clearer.
2- Choose "Format" -> "Columns"
Note: You can use other ways to replaceable the bug, for example, Choose
"Format" -> "Page" - > "Columns" tab. I chose "Format" -> "Columns" because it
is simpler.
3- Change the number of columns. For example, change it to three columns, then
click "OK"
Note: You can change the number of columns to any valid value, values between 2
and 99 ,the bug will still be replaceable.
4- Add content to all columns.
Note: You have to add content to at least two columns to see the failure.
5- Choose "Format" -> "Columns"
6- Change the the number of columns to any value less than 1, then click "OK"
Description of the failure:
Writer change the value of the number of columns to one, which means combing
all the content of the columns into one column.
This should not happen, Writer should either make no changes, or reject the
value and shows an error message like what MS Word does, see attachment.
