(2) What was text in Notepad that you then copied to the clipboard and which did not show up when pasted into the open Calc sheet. Was this into a single cell or a selection of cells? - Dennis PS: Pasting does not clear the clipboard, copying something new tends to replace what is on the clipboard. The clipboard has a kind of cache. PPS: If you get this to reproduce again, another test is 5. After pasting from Calc, close Calc and reopen it. See if a copy back from Notepad then works correctly.
