          Issue ID: 126832
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Trying to open existing file, can't get before "Don't
                    Reopen" "Reopen" window.
           Product: Writer
           Version: 3.4.1
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OS X 10.11
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Major
          Priority: P5 (lowest)
         Component: open-import
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

My goal here is just to open an existing document. I can't get that done.

Whenever I open OpenOffice, I get the message:
"The last time you opened OpenOffice.org, it unexpectedly quit while
reopening windows. Do you wan to try to reopen its window again?"

I am then presented with "Don't Reopen" and "Reopen" as options.

If I click on "Don't Reopen", it goes blue very briefly then "Reopen" turns
blue. If I then click on"Reopen" nothing happens.

Underneath this a window appears: "OpenOffice.org Document Recovery"
Under it:: : "Press 'Start Recovery' to start the recovery process of the
documents listed below."

Under "Status of recovered documents:" it says:
    "Untitled 1" "Not recovered yet"

When I pressed "Next"l it says "(yellowish check mark) Successfully recovered"
When I pressed "Next" (I think) a blank document comes up.
I save it under the file option. The "Don't Reopen" "Reopen" options remain.

Nothing I can do gets past this dialog box and I never to open the file I want.

Thank you. (FYI ... I used to be a software deveelper)
     Joe
