Issue ID: 126854
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Calc - won't print wirelessly to Canon Pixma 4250
Series inkjet printer (issue 92416 - reported as
CLOSED IRREPRODUCIBLE)
Product: Calc
Version: 4.1.2
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: printing
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Whilst doing a detailed search for this problem on the Bugzilla site, found an
entry from 'oregonken' dated 2014-11-01 (issue 92416?) regarding a problem
printing wirelessly from his printer when using Calc but works OK with other
parts of AOO.
The problem in this case is printing wirelessly to a Canon Pixma MG4250 series
printer from Calc (works OK when a USB cable is connected, which is puzzling).
This has been happening for some time, but haven't had time to report it until
now.
In addition, to try and diagnose the problem I have tried the following:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers/software - fault persists,
Printing from other parts of AOO (eg.Word Processor) - works OK wirelessly,
Printing from other software programs (eg. Adobe PDF Reader, email - works OK
wirelessly).
Whilst I can live with the problem as I can print from Calc with the USB cable
connected, can you investigate further please as it is proving annoying?
prickles.
