I am cross-connecting these, rather than closing one or the other as a duplicate. One thing to look at is changes made in the Windows clipboard that allow it to retain multiple copies (as opposed to multiple formats of the same copy). The problem might be in how AOO gets the latest one in that case, rather than it being an internal cache problem.
