Dom Nunley <dnunle...@outlook.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |dnunle...@outlook.com --- Comment #2 from Dom Nunley <dnunle...@outlook.com> --- I believe I was able to recreate this highlighting bug in a few different forms. I was able to recreate this on Windows 8 and Windows 7 machines using Open Office version 4.1.2. Attaching screenshots and sample files to recreate the bug. Steps to recreate With Highlighting on .doc File: 1. Select Numbering Off/On to add numbering then add 1 or more lines of text. 2. Highlight the last character of text on any of the numbered lines and select Highlighting. Only the text highlighted gets the highlighting. If the last character of text is not highlighted then the bug will not reproduce. 3. Save file as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) and close file. 4. Open the file in Open Office Writer and notice how the numbers are now highlighted. 5. Right click on the numbered list and select Default Formatting. Only the text clears the formatting. Optional: You could also try to highlighting the entire list, click on Highlighting and only the text clears the highlighting. Steps to recreate with Font Coloring on .doc File: 1. Select Numbering Off/On to add numbering then add 1 or more lines of text. 2. Highlight the last character of text on any of the numbered lines and select Color Font then select any color. Only the text highlighted gets colored. If the last character of text is not colored then the bug will not reproduce. 3. Save file as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) and close file. 4. Open the file in Open Office Writer and notice how the numbers are now colored. 5. Right click on the numbered list and select Default Formatting. Only the text defaults the formatting. Optional: You can also try to highlight the entire list, click on Color Font, select Automatic and only the text clears the font coloring. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
