--- Comment #4 from Andrew Cowen <[email protected]> --- The solution to my OpenOffice problem being resolved did not seem to have any logic to it at all, however the process was this: I closed the computer down (Apple OS X 10.9.5) by using the button at the back of the Apple software, rather than via the keyboard. On restarting the system a new window appeared (in addition to the original "Don't Reopen/Reopen" one) warning that someone else might be accessing OpenOffice and offering 3 options. I pressed the cancel option and OpenOffice was restored to its original state allowing me access to the software. Unfortunately I can't remember the other two options being an everyday user of the computer rather than a specialist. However I can only surmise that shutting the computer down via the rear button short circuited OpenOffice by introducing an element that broke the original fault cycle. Hope this helps someone. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
