There is a problem with OSX versions and Firefox that prevent the encryption/decryption working properly. Although this issue is identified as Resolved, that does not mean any repair has been issued and confirmed, unfortunately. The complication is that the defect is related to a run-time dependency on encryption services from a third party. Meanwhile, Comment 45 offers one workaround. Comment 81 is the assumption that we have a fix, although it is not in any distributed code yet. What is required is a new AOO release that gets around that dependency on MacOSX. An alternative might be some sort of hotfix or repair tool that can be applied. The last has not been investigated. I have, however, raised the priority of this issue since it effectively constitutes grave data loss. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
