[ ... ] Why did you copy the changelog for 4.1.1 instead of linking to it? Is your Mac a laptop with a trackpad? You may discover that the trackpad is sensitive to palm pressure on other parts of the laptop surface. Also, having a problem in Cubase suggests this is a system issue and not specific to Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1.
