--- Comment #11 from Sam Kellar <[email protected]> --- After comparing the outline formats of Microsoft Word 2013 and Apache OpenOffice Writer 4.1.2, I found that there are similar spacing behaviours used in both for the numeric sublevels. However, Word appears to increase the fixed-width space between outline and text as the sublevels grow (up to 4), whereas Writer appears to decrease the space. As such, the mixing of numeric and other outline types in Writer causes unexpected formatting.
