Microsoft Word 2016

BUG 1:
I was able to replicate this bug using the instructions provided by [email protected]
(worked on the bug using version 4.1.0 of OpenOffice Writer).
a. Start OpenOffice Writer
b. Select “Table” on the application menu and choose “Insert” option.
c. Select any preferred row and column number for the table.
d. On the “Table” menu, select “Table Properties”.
e. Check “Right” on the Alignment section and set the Width to a lower size.
f. Save the document as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc).
g. Reopen the document using Microsoft Word.
FAILURE: Table Alignment is set to left instead of right.
BUG 2:
I did not replicate the bug successfully using the steps provided by
[email protected] (worked on the bug using version 4.1.0 of OpenOffice Writer).
However, the function key shortcut (F11) for “Styles and Formatting” was not
available for OpenOffice Writer for Mac.
I followed these steps in an attempt to replicate the bug:
a. Start Open Office.
b. Select “Table” on the application menu and choose “Insert” option.
c. Select 2 columns and 100 rows for the table (to ensure a page break).
d. On the “Table” menu, select “Table Properties”.
e. Click the “Text Flow” tab.
f. Check “Repeating Heading” and select 1 row.
g. Select “Format” on the application menu and choose “Styles and
Formatting” option.
h. Set the page style of the first page to “First Page”.
i. Type a text in the first row of the table (the text should also appear in
leading rows in the successive pages).
j. Save the document as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc).
k. Reopen the document using Microsoft Word.
EXPECTED FAILURE: First row of table in pages following the first page is split
and Repeating heading is lost.
ACTUAL RESULT: The rows were not split and the repeating heading still existed.
