There is the chance that we use a way that works while you use a method that does not work. I am interested especially in the step you take for "Try and change the column to text.". Your description sounds rather strange to me. Example: What I tried: 1) open a new spreadsheed 2) Enter an email Adress in A1 (email adress was changed into an URL) 3) Press Control + m 4) Text is a default text. I will check and see if I can make an exact reconstruct your issue with your environment as specified (OS Win 64, OO 4.1.3, no mailclient). If I can replicate I will reopen the Issue. No Problem.
