--- Comment #4 from Lewis Rosenthal <[email protected]> --- The Wikipedia article is outdated, though it does mention at the end of the third paragraph, after the bit about eComStation: In 2015 it was announced[4] that a new OEM distribution of OS/2 would be released that was to be called ArcaOS.[5] (Full disclosure: I'm the Managing Member of Arca Noae, LLC.) The last GA version of eComStation was 2.1, released in 2011. eComStation 2.2 has been stalled at beta 2 since 2013. Arca Noae has a current license from IBM to sell OS/2 as part of ArcaOS and ArcaUpdater. ArcaOS 5.0 is slated for release 3/31/2017. I can understand wanting to remain vendor-neutral, and certainly, IBM's own OS/2 page is of little help: http://www-01.ibm.com/software/os/warp-withdrawal/ My point is that if the link is to reference eComStation, then it is correct. If it is to provide a link to further information about OS/2, then it is not. If the intention is to link to the "current" maintainer of OS/2, then it should probably point to Arca Noae. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
