Marcus <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hardware|PC |All OS|Windows XP |All Status|CLOSED |REOPENED Resolution|NOT_AN_ISSUE |--- Ever confirmed|0 |1 Summary|=C2/100.1 when C2 is SUM, |Cannot change cell format |doesn't allow change of D2 |when it refers from another |format |cell (e.g., C2 is "$", then | |D2 is also "$" and cannot | |be changed) --- Comment #10 from Marcus <[email protected]> --- @Jim: Thanks for your sample document. I can see the same problem on Linux. So, doesn't seem to be Windows-specific. As workaround you can do: a) First define the calculations, and then define the cell format for specific cells (e.g., define formula in C2 + D2, and then define the cell format for both) b) Define a cell as header (e.g., write "US-$" into C1) Then I don't have a problem to define a cell format for D1 different to C1. However, I've never seen this problem in my daily work with spreadsheets. So, I don't know what here the special thing is. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
