[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #5 from [email protected] --- The issue here is with the VL Gothic font. The spacing issue is present in English characters along with Japanese. The line spacing proportion is irrelevant and the issue is still present when changed. I have successfully replicated this bug and have done so by using the following software: 1. Download Open Office Version 4.1.2 and install it successfully. 2. (Linux) Ubuntu v16.04 (64 bit). 3. Windows v8.1 (64 bit). 4. Font tested was the Japanese font (VL Gothic). 5. Depending on the which OS is the host system - the secondary OS can be run in a virtual environment either using VMware or Virtual Box within the host OS. Please make sure both OS's are functioning properly. To replicate the bug: 1. Open OO Writer in both Windows 8.1 (64 bit) and Ubuntu 16.04 (64 bit). 2. Change the default font to VL Gothic. 3. Type any multi line sentences in both writers using varying font sizes on both Operating systems. 4. Observe and compare the line spacing inconsistency between the 2 operating systems. Additional info for replicating the bug using different font sizes: The only configuration that i changed was from the 1st test run onward using the different font sizes for VL Gothic font, I discovered that font sizes selected as 7.5 points and 8.5 points are somewhat displaying the same size. The same also applies for 13.5 points and 15, and for 16 and 18. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the issue. You are the assignee for the issue.
