I replaced the video segment in slide #13 with one I had for testing, an mp4 file, and this was fine, the video played. I resaved the file as PPT and still OK on re-open playing the slide show. We build Linux versions with gstreamer enabled if available, and this is what I have on my CentOS 6.9 system. Gstreamer supports many widely available formats, but of course, not all. Unfortunately, PPT format is not like ODT where one can investigate structure easily so no ideas on format of original video included in the link.
