Issue ID: 127652 Issue Type: DEFECT Summary: Document losing password in recovery Product: Writer Version: 4.1.3 Hardware: All OS: Windows 10 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: Critical Priority: P5 (lowest) Component: open-import Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org Reporter: geoff.j.j.morris...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- A document had not been saved when the system was shut down. When the system was restarted the recovery dialog appeared and the file was recovered. When I opened the document it was apparently fine - but it was a password protected file and it hadn't asked for my password. I closed and retried it, but again no password dialog appeared. I did 'save as' and saw that the password option was unchecked. I re-applied a password and the doc now works as it should. Is there a flaw in the recovery procedure? I am "pretty crtain" that I have recovered this file OK in the past - weeks or months ago maybe, but the password dialog was OK then. I have just seen Issue ID 122322: it seems to match! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
