I am trying to install version 4.1.5 on a new desktop computer running Windows
10 64 bit and the installation goes so far and then stops and shows the error
code shown above in the summary line. I click on OK and the installation rolls
back everything it did up to that point and shuts down the installation
program. I don't know why it keeps saying 'the specified account already
exists', since it is an update installation on a fairly new machine with only a
few programs installed on it. All programs up till this one installed with no
problems. I was running Open Office 4.1.2 on this computer but it was not
running well. The top of the screen was blank with no menu items shown and
there was no way I could get any to appear. It did show 'update available'
which I clicked on and was directed to your web page and downloaded the newer
version and tried to install it. The first time it showed the error code I ran
IOBIT Uninstaller program and totally removed the older version from the
computer.
I am trying to install Apache on an ASUS desktop computer. I am running Open
Office 4.1.2 on an HP laptop computer running Windows 10 64 bit with no
problems at all.
What can be done to rectify this problem as I would really like to be using the
newer version on the desktop?
