Windows Error Popup
I am installing this on a virtual machine.
I am a Controls Engineer.
I run several different VM's, one for Rockwell Software, one for Siemens, and
one for any other odds and ends that I don't think will play well with those
two items.
For some reason I have been unable to install Open Office on my Siemens VM.
I get 'Error 1324.The path Program Files (x86) contains an invalid character.
I'm a fairly seasoned windows user, and I have checked and tried everything
from the microsoft knowledgebase that I could find, done some interesting
registry modifications, made a separate Administrator account to install from,
in short, everything I could find from every forum and help board I can find.
I'm not sure why it calls out "Program Files (x86)", as that is not where I am
attempting to install it.
I have installed this on other VM's with no problem.
I have tried different versions, no luck
I have had no problems with any other software on this VM.
Any thoughts? I'm out of ideas.
