If you mark all cells with ctrl+a or a click in the upper left header where row number and headerline (the one that says A,B,C and so forth) meet, the selected font should change to blank. Deselect the font you want. >From this moment on any new row should appear with the new font. If that not happens check on hidden columns/rows. Open them and then it should work. For defaulting for all new documents you need to setup a template which is explained above. Then each new document will come with the preferred font.
