--- Comment #12 from LucienM <[email protected]> --- I come back on this issue dated 2009 because the problem is still today in the latest version of open office 4.1.5 and it is really annoying, so for clarity I summarize it herewith : when trying to assign a macro to an event with the following chain of menus : Tools > Macros > Organize > Open Office Basic > Assign...> Macro..., it is impossible to select a macro from the document because the only two libraries shown are "My Macros" and "OpenOffice.org Macros". (see attached screenshot) As it took me 2 days on the forum to learn that there is a workaround : under Tools > Customize, the same sub-menu is called up and in this one it is possible to choose from the macros of the document. Obviously once a programmer knows the workaround, he does not care anymore going through Tools > Macros, and the problem stays in an unresolved issue. However for newcomers it is desirable not to discourage them with known workarounds around known unfixed bugs :), and it is therefore important to fix this, especially as it seems not too difficult. (in the worst case, just suppress the Assign menu under Tools > Macros and only keep the one under Tools > Customize). Otherwise, thank you for all your good work ! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue. You are on the CC list for the issue.
