.ods spreadsheet with dummy data and inserted OpenDocument Spreadsheet and
inserted OpenOffice xml 1.0 spreadsheet.
It goes wrong both on Windows 7 having MS-Office 2016 installed, and on Windows
10 having the 2010 version. I've checked all file associations and they appear
correct for both OpenOffice and Excel.
Create new OpenDocument Spreadsheet with some dummy entries. Menu > Insert >
Object > OLE Object > Further objects > OpenDocument Spreadsheet.
What appears to be an ods spreadsheet opens with Excel!
Inserting an OpenOffice.org XML 1.0 spreadsheet works correctly.
It doesn't happen using a tablet running Windows 10 but with only the cut-down
versions of MS Office elements preinstalled with the O.S.
