I have not checked the Code... So I think the Issue is as soon as sections are used in a more complex way OpenOffice seems to just break on the complexity. The Document Hebrew formating no template 1.odt is much more complex then needed to break OpenOffice. Just do the following: 1. In a new Document, write some text. 2. Then Create a section 3. and some subsection. 4. Now enter somewhere a break Columns. Result: And Hush text disappears. I categorize this one as Section and break statement break the document.
