Last night I cleared my browser cache before going to bed. I have spent an hour
this morning looking for that page. The page looked like this one
->http://www.openoffice.org/download/common/java.html It appears that the one
sentence about going to internet explorer->Settings->About to see what version
of Java to install has been removed.

I read some comments in the Open Office forum where people did the same thing-
checking IE for what java version to install. In any case I initially installed
the 64-bit java version. Then read later that I need the 32-bit version for
calc so I uninstalled the 64-bit and downloaded the 32-bit but I am still not
able to save .ods files as .xml.

I also have already looked under Tools->Options->Java and the java program does
appear and is selected. So what else could be causing the problem?
