I tried to replicate the issue with different methods and configurations but I
still unable to reproduce the issue as in attached sample in the initial
report.

The steps I did in effort to replicate this issue:

Method 1 (Run in both Machine 1 and 2 with the same result):
1.Open Apache OpenOffice Writer
2.Type “Hello World Test” using standard Times New Roman with size 12.
3.Press Enter.
4.Press Tab.
5.Type “Hello World Line 1” using standard Times New Roman with size 12.
6.Click Inset-> Special Character -> Choose font OpenSymbol -> Choose U+2717->
Click OK
7.Type space with Times New Roman size 12.
8.Type “Another World” with Times New Roman size 12.
9.Select “Hello World Line 1 ✗ Another World”
10.Press CTR+U
11.Go to the last line and delete the word “Another World”
12.The underline gone and does not stay as attached sample in the main report.

Method 2 (Run in both Machine 1 and 2 with the same result):
1.Open Apache OpenOffice Writer
2.Type “Hello World Test” using standard Times New Roman with size 12.
3.Press Enter.
4.Press Tab.
5.Type “Hello World Line 1” using standard Times New Roman with size 12.
6.Click Inset-> Special Character -> Choose font OpenSymbol -> Choose U+2717->
Click OK
7.Type space with OpenSymbol size 12.
8.Type “Another World” with OpenSymbol size 12.
9.Select “Hello World Line 1 ✗ Another World”
10.Press CTR+U
11.Go to the last line and delete the word “Another World”
12.The underline stays and looks similar with the attached sample in the
initial report. However, the underline is gone when you scroll up and down in
the page so I can’t say that I can replicate the main issue.

Thank you.
