I am willing to do a bit of investigation etc. I am downloading the source code. I have also noted a version upgrade to 4.1.6 so I will download that to a different machine (since AOO cannot be installed in multiple locations on the same machine). What I think is a good approach to consider is to find how the line colour table is stored within the UNO repository.
