I wrote a short story in a text document about 5 pages long. I finished up the
writing and editing after 4 months work. I saved, closed out and was about to
shut off my computer when Java notified me that my Java license had expired.
(I don't understand Java.) Anyhow I continued to exit for the day. The next day
when I booted up, my short story had 5 or 6 pages of hashtags and no text. It
was like I lost a favorite friend. It was just as follows:

Only 5 or six pages of hashtags.... How can I get my short story back again?
