It is still current, just the good news is that Pootle works properly now. Summary of components and actions: - Adding the locale: this can be done based on your PR, and this is the scope of this issue. See slides to understand what this means in practice. - Adding a spell-checker: this is done through an extension, subscribe to the L10N list https://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-lists.html for advice. It does require that the locale is added, so your dictionary won't work with the current version of OpenOffice unless you go for hacks that I discourage (like pretending that Ligurian is Esperanto) - Translating the entire UI: this is much bigger, and the L10N list is, again, the place for discussing it.
